Its for creating awareness of US apples to everyone, how we can us apples from drinks to desserts in our meal. They star with apple sangria. Which was with star anise, cinnamon and cut apple pieces. Soup was of curried carrot and apple soup. Which got base of roasted pumpkin with very velvety texture.
Salad was poached apple with goat salad. Apple was poached in red wine reduction and goat cheese and hazelnut sprinkled on it.
In main course they served us Chicken roulade . Its moist chicken roulade and mushrooms stuffed on the bed of peronata and brandy apple juice.
I had two sweets first one was Apple cheese cake. Base of it of thin layer of crust brownie on the top soft cheese cake. This was garnished by caramelise apples and rasberries.
Second one was apple Baklava its was amazing creation. Low sugar apple stuffing in flaky filo sheets and serve with home made vanilla ice cream.
