Beetroot Chautney

Ingredients: 200gms beetroots, 100gms finely chopped onion, 4 garlic pods, 2inches of ginger, 5 green chillies, 100gms grated coconut, 1 tsp coriander seeds, 1tsp mustard seeds, 1tsp cumin seeds, 1tsp turmeric powder,7 to 8 curry leaves,  1 tbs soaked tamarind, 2 tbs soaked chana dal and urad dal, 2 tbs coconut oil , salt and sugar.

Method: Pour 2 table spoon of coconut oil add mustard seeds in Pan. After crackles add 3 to 4 curry leaves. Now add coriander and cumin seeds. Then add ginger and garlic pcs, green chilies, chopped onion, turmeric powder. Once onion get transparent add cut pieces of beetroot and grated coconut, salt and little sugar. When beetroot get cooked properly, removed it from fire and let it come to room temperature. Put all mixture in mixer with soaked tamarind and grind it. Put all grated mixture in bowl and give tampering of some curry leaves and soaked chana dal and urad dal. Serve it with steam rice.
